Teach Me Something

Posted at 9:28 am under EDU 644

As I was preparing for this lesson, I decided to stay within the science field but to have a little fun too.  My topic of choice is digestion.  It may seem like a boring topic but it is really interesting to see the amazing way our body is made for our survival.  All followed up by a School House Rock favorite. Hope you enjoy it (and learn a little something too).

First of all, Can I use it in my classes? I teach health as well and you did a great job. Did you have to type a script or did you just make it up as you went? I would guess that you wrote a script. Sounded like it. good job :) :)

Well, this is one way to make what would be a more boring lesson into something more interesting. I probably shouldn’t have listened to this while I was eating though…

    Good job!

I always have a hard time concentrating enough to to say those “big words” like carbohydrates, you did real well. I would have probably gotten tongue tied.

You did a really great job! I like the song you added at the end…it gave a nice twist to your lesson!

I like your lesson on digestion! The descriptions of the process and organs were really great–however I read this right after eating and the part about “soupy mixture” part was just gross!
Your voice was smooth and upbeat. And the song at the end was a great addition.

Nice Work! I could listen to that while driving down the road and this lesson could be portable. You’ve help give me an idea!

You did a wonderful job reading this information. I would have stumbled over many of the words. I am sorry to say that the song steals the show! Great addition! Is is from school house rock?
